I think someone has already stated this...Their bikes are very unattractive compared to most modern bikes (subjective). Whether they ride exceptionally well or not is also subjective. However; there are a lot of amazing bikes out there that also look REALLY good. I would much rather have a bike that I loved everything about rather than one that just rode really well. Especially when you are spending that kind of $.
